Water flow meter is a device used to measure water flow. It can be divided into many types according to its working principle and structural
characteristics. The following are several common types of water flow meters and their characteristics:
Mechanical water flow meter:
Principle: Use the kinetic energy or pressure difference of the fluid to generate torque, drive the mechanical component to rotate or swing,
and transmit it to the pointer or counter through the connecting rod to achieve the measurement of flow.
Common types: Including turbine flow meter, rotor flowmeter, piston flowmeter, float flow meter, etc.
Electromagnetic water flowmeter (also known as electromagnetic flowmeter):
Principle: Measurement based on the principle of electromagnetic induction. The liquid fluid flowing through the pipeline generates an
electromotive force under the action of the magnetic field, and the electrode measures the electromotive force to calculate the flow.
Features: It has the characteristics of good linearity, high accuracy, and strong reliability. It is widely used in water treatment, chemical industry,
metallurgy and other industries.
Structure: It consists of two parts: sensor and converter, and works based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction.

Application: Used to measure industrial pipeline medium fluids such as gas, steam and liquid.
Features: strong anti-interference performance, good stability and accuracy, large measuring range, advanced circuit, small resistance loss,
strong and durable.
Other types:
According to different industrial applications and measurement requirements, there are other types of water flow meters, such as ultrasonic
flow meters, thermal flow meters, etc.
