Turbine flow meters and electromagnetic flow meters are two common flow devices for measuring liquids. They have some 

significant differences in their principles, working methods and applications. Today winny will analyze it for everyone.


principle:


Turbine flow meter: Uses the rotation of a turbine to measure the speed of fluid flow. The turbine rotates in the fluid at a speed

 proportional to the velocity of the fluid. By measuring the frequency or speed at which the turbine rotates, the flow rate of the 

fluid can be determined.


Mag flow meter: Use the Lorentz force principle to measure the flow of fluid. When the conductive liquid passes

 through the magnetic field, it exerts a force transverse to the direction of the fluid and the magnetic field. By measuring the 

magnitude of this force, the liquid flow rate can be determined.



Applicable fluid types:


Turbine flow meter: It is suitable for clean, low-viscosity liquids or gases.


Electromagnetic flowmeter: Suitable for conductive liquids, including corrosive liquids, wastewater and slurries.



Precision and accuracy:


Turbine Flowmeter: Under the right conditions, turbine flowmeters can provide high precision and accuracy.


Electromagnetic flowmeter: Generally has high stability and accuracy, and can work well even in the presence of impurities or sediment.

Installation and maintenance:
