Features of Liquid Turbine Flow Meters

The liquid turbine flow meter has its own characteristics, such as simple structure, few processing parts, light weight, convenient maintenance,

 large flow capacity and adaptability to high parameters. It is difficult to achieve other types of flow meters.

It has the following advantages:

1. Wide range, generally 6:1, up to 40:1.

2. High measurement accuracy, good repeatability, stable and reliable.

3. Good linearity.

4. The pressure loss is small (0, 01~0, 1MPa), the gas is lower, the shape does not need to be opened, and it can withstand high pressure.

5. The system responds quickly.

6. It has strong anti-interference and can be transmitted remotely.

7. Easy installation and maintenance, simple structure.

8. Good corrosion resistance, the sensor can be made of corrosion-resistant materials.

But the turbine flowmeter also has some disadvantages:

1. Manufacturing difficulties.

2. Due to bearing wear, it is necessary to calibrate the characteristics regularly.

3. It is greatly affected by fluid characteristics (density, viscosity).

4. The accuracy of small-caliber instruments decreases.

5. The length requirements of the upstream and downstream straight pipe sections are high.

6. High requirements for fluid cleanliness.

7. For high-viscosity fluids, the linearity becomes worse.

The liquid turbine flowmeter product itself does not have the function of on-site display, and only transmits the flow signal far away.
